History

Carl Haas and Paul Newman first met as competitors in the Can-Am Series. In 1982 Carl contacted Paul to gauge his interest in forming an Open Wheel Team. Newman immediately said NO. Carl then mentioned that the driver would be Mario Andretti to which Newman responded "When do you want to meet?" The rest is history...
